Is The Southern Cross
These clear Autumn nights
Allow for a clarity of view
I watch it almost every night
As I retreat from the shed
It’s there
Reminding me of where…..I am
I don’t need to ink it on my chest
wear it as a cape
It is not mine
It is just there
